Sandown

Sandown Beach is one of the Isle of Wight's finest and most recognised beaches. Miles of golden sands and amusements nearby has made this beach extremely popular with tourists, Sandown is a traditional 'bucket and spade' holiday beach with all that you expect from an English family beach. 

You'll sure to see surfers riding the waves and fantastic views of the white, fossil-rich chalk of Culver Cliffs in the distance. 

The promenade is floodlit on summer evenings and a roadrunner train operates between the town and sea front. High street includes restaurant, kiosk, shops and toilets.
