Discover an intimate perspective on the history of Osborne with winter guided tours of the house providing the unique opportunity to delve deep into the stories and secrets of Osborne’s royal household. Uncover the hidden stories of this magnificent estate and gain insights into the roles that were essential for its prosperity. Knowledgeable staff members, wearing what Thomas Newell, a former footman, and Mrs. Smith, a former housekeeper would have worn whilst they were servants at Osborne, are ready answer any questions you may have.
Access to the house will be exclusively through guided tours during this period. Booking your spot in advance to secure your preferred time slot is highly recommended, as capacities are limited.

Father Christmas at Osborne | Weekends 30 Nov - 22 Dec
Join Father Christmas at Osborne this December for a magical way to start the festive season, as he takes time out of his busy schedule to tell some of his favourite seasonal stories around the Christmas tree.
After the group storytelling session, you and your children will meet the man himself, with the chance to take photographs and make memories to treasure. Father Christmas will also give every child a traditional present to unwrap.
Christmas Afternoon Tea | Wednesdays to Sundays 30 Nov - 22 Dec, 12pm - 3:30pm
Upgrade your visit with a Christmas Afternoon Tea at Osborne's Terrace Restaurant! Indulge in savoury tarts, pigs in blankets, canapés, and sweet treats, served with tea or coffee—or add Prosecco for an extra touch of luxury.
For little ones, they're offering a special Christmas Tea with finger sandwiches, houmous & crudités, pigs in blankets, a mini Christmas doughnut, and fresh fruit, served with juice or milkshake.
Afternoon Teas can be added to your ticket at check out.
Getting There
From Southampton: Sail over with a car and up to 7 passengers, or travel on foot with a Family Ticket for £44.90. From our East Cowes terminal it's a 31 minute walk, or a short journey on the Southern Vectis no. 5 bus, which can be caught outside Waitrose, opposite the terminal.
