Red Funnel rolls out red carpet for VIP (Very Im'paw'tant Pooches)

Isle of Wight Ferry operator, Red Funnel welcomed two VIP (Very im’paw’tant pooches) onboard the Red Osprey, heading to the annual Crufts dog show at NEC, Birmingham.

As part of the cross-Solent ferry company’s Island Ambassador programme, Red Funnel is proud to support owner Julie Platt and her team of 9 working Siberian Huskies with sponsored travel.

Julie has qualified both the beautiful Lacey (2 years old) and Maddie (7 months) for Crufts 2023, where they will compete in their age relevant Siberian Husky Class as part of the Working Group. As many as 188 Siberian Huskies are expected at this year’s show making for stiff competition. Outside of the showring, both Lacey and Maddie are working dogs, competing in sled racing up and down the country, but beloved pets first.
