From the creators of The Woodland Sessions, The Big Beach Weekender arrives on Ryde Beach this July, showcasing exceptional talent in an exceptional setting.
Three nights of exceptional entertainment on the beach including a Comedy night, 90's Party night and DnB Dance night.
Big Beach Weekender
Taking place on the super soft Sand of Ryde Beach, The Big Beach Weekender delivers three very different outdoor summer concerts across three days.
Thursday - Comedy Night | 6pm - 10:45pm
Join Maisie Adam, Dylan Moran, Harriet Kemsley and Hal Cruttenden as they take to the stage in a comedy club / "Live At The Apollo" format. Start the night at 6pm with a chilled out DJ set from 'Our Girl G' followed by an acoustic set from Powdercoat. From 8pm enjoy a hilarious evening of stand up delivered by 4 top "TV familiar" comedians.
Friday - 90's Party Night | 6pm - 10:55pm
Join Rhythm Of The 90’s, the UK’s number one 90’s dance anthems covers band for a high-energy, nostalgia-filled set. Start the night with The Galactic DJ's, a longstanding but rarely seen DJ partnership between two well known Island legends DJ Jakey Chan & Oli Whitehurst opening the show. Followed by Ian "Knocka" Dore, celebrating the Ryde clubbing scene of the 90's. From 8:55pm look forward to Rhythm of the 90's' 2 hour set! Expect to hear classic hits from Darude, The Prodigy, Sash, Faithless, Haddaway, Robin S, Corona, Baby D, N-Trance, plus many more, all performed by a FULLY LIVE 7 piece band.
Saturday - Dance Night | 6pm-11:55pm
With drum n bass more popular than ever, The Big Beach Weekender brings Andy C, an absolute legend of UK dance music to the Island, for his first visit in 10 years . Andy will be accompanied by his regular MC sidekick Tonn Piper. Supporting Andy C will be Lens, one of DnB’s hottest talents from the new wave of female DJ's that are taking the scene by storm, with Dynamite MC with a collection of the Island's finest talent.

By Car: Follow Sat Nav directions to: Eastern Gardens, Esplanade, Ryde, Isle of Wight, PO33 2EL
On Foot: From the East Cowes Terminal, head to the bus stop opposite Waitrose (2 min walk) and catch the number 4 bus to Ryde Transport Interchange.
From our West Cowes Terminal, head to the bus stop on Carvel Lane and catch the number 1 bus to Newport. From Newport bus station catch the number 9 bus to Ryde Transport Interchange.
